There’s something magical about witnessing true love through the lens, and that’s exactly what happened during this unforgettable engagement session at MT Con Mine Foreman’s Park in Butte, Montana. The natural beauty of the park made the perfect backdrop for this adventurous and joy-filled couple, whose energy and love for each other lit up every frame.

 

As we wandered through the scenic park, they shared their incredible proposal story with me — and let me tell you, it was one for the books! After an epic helicopter ride high above breathtaking views, he popped the question. How amazing is that? I knew instantly that their session had to match that level of excitement and personal meaning.

 

To celebrate their story, I had them run hand-in-hand with airplane arms—just like they were soaring through the sky together. It was spontaneous, fun, and perfectly symbolic of their helicopter proposal and the way they move in complete harmony.

 

But we didn’t stop there.

 

To honor this once-in-a-lifetime moment, I surprised them with a custom champagne bottle, complete with a personalized label featuring their names and upcoming wedding date. I also brought along two champagne glasses so they could toast to their love and future together, right there in the park.

 

And for a little added nostalgia? A Newlywed Times newspaper prop—something all of my wedding couples receive in full color as a keepsake. It’s a fun, heartfelt touch that captures their story in a unique, timeless way.
